[William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody]: Nate Salsbury Typed Letter Signed. 8.5" x 7.25" TLS, Long Branch, New Jersey, July 23, 1900, typed on illustrated letterhead for "Buffalo Bill's Wild West and Congress of Rough Riders of the World" depicting Cody and the writer of this missive, show manager Nate Salsbury. Salisbury writes to W. N. Gould of Aurora, Illinois (the consignor's ancestor), expressing condolences on the passing of the one of the members of the Aurora Zouaves, his former commander in the Civil War. "... it was very thoughtful in you to apprise me of the death of my old comrade in arms. He ran a long race with Old Father Time, and his finish was characteristic of the man... I am more than delighted that the 'Company' is to hook up again with the Wild West, if only for one performance, and both the Colonel and myself appreciate the motive that prompts the action on your part." Sold together with the matching transmittal envelope (evenly toned, open on three sides). Salsbury material is very scarce and this is a fine example with exceptional content.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
