    Oswald's Obsession with Cuba Revealed

[John F. Kennedy]: Lee Harvey Oswald ALS and Envelope. In this undated Autographed Letter Signed written, we believe, in the Fall of 1963 Lee Harvey Oswald writes to the Socialist Workers Party in New York City. He requests an extension of his subscription to the party organ plus four S.W.P. publications, namely: "Jack Scott Takes a Second Look at Cuba", "Moscow vs. Peking", "The Road to Revolution in Latin America" and "How Cuba Uprooted Race Discrimination". Oswald was a member of the Fair Play for Cuba Committee and was arrested in New Orleans for handing out their literature. The impetus for his assassinating John F. Kennedy was likely the failed Bay of Pigs invasion. The letter measures 5.5" x 7.25" and is accompanied by the transmittal envelope addressed to the S.W.P. Oswald also had contact with the Communist Party of America and is known to have written C.P.U.S.A. leader Gus Hall. This letter was never sent, for reasons unknown. It was given by Marina Oswald to her personal attorney, along with other papers which she did not care to retain and from her personal attorney to the consignor. Accompanied by a letter of provenance.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
