    Description

[Benjamin Franklin] Poor Richard's Almanack (1756), with Poor Roger's American Country Almanack (1756). Both are 4" x 6.5", sewn together, and toned and foxed with frayed edges. Poor Richard's Almanack (34 pages) contains illustrations of Zodiac Man and monthly panels, but is missing the title page. Benjamin Franklin generated folk humor through the guise of Richard Saunders in Poor Richard's Almanack for twenty-five years. He published his final almanac two years after this issue.

Poor Roger's American Country Almanack, for the Year of Christian Account 1756, By Roger More, Philodespot was "Printed and Sold by B. Franklin, and D. Hall, at the New-Printing-Office near the Market." This issue is complete (24 pages) with a Zodiac Man illustration. Both almanacs are housed in a custom-made binder.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
