    Description

    Three Pieces of Mann's Patent Civil War Equipment. Waist belt in fine, sound complete condition. Some minor finish crazing but no flaking and excellent. Attached the the belt is an old ink script tag listing this and other pieces of Mann's equipment stating that these pieces are from the "Williams coll." Also, two carbine cartridge boxes. One missing tin, latch tab torn at one side but all there, some finish crazing and minor flaking. Overall very good sound condition. Another carbine box with original tin and excellent with minimal crazing / flaking although the lower half of the latch tab is torn / missing. Both boxes with single belt loop on back. All pieces maker marked by E. Gaylord, Chicopee Mass. and both carbine boxes with "T. J. Shepherd" in cartouche and script US on front flap. Scarce group.
