    Lot of Six Military Flap Revolver Holsters. Includes: 1) Black leather flap holster made to fit a 5" barrel revolver. Overall about 12" long. Sewn and riveted belt loop on the reverse; brass closure finial for securing the flap. Unmarked. Moderate crazing to the surface of the leather; a few compromised seams, otherwise fair condition. 2) Brown leather holster, 8 ½" overall, made for a 5" barrel revolver. Single belt loop sewn on back. Never had a flap closure button. Leather scuffed; belt loop about to split in half, otherwise good condition. 3) Brown leather holster measuring 11 ½" overall and made for a revolver with a 7" barrel. Small brass finial for securing the flap. Single belt loop sewn on the reverse. No maker mark. Very good condition. 4) Brown leather holster measuring 15" overall, made for a revolver with a 7" barrel. No maker markings. Wide leather belt loop secured by three rivets. Pear-shaped brass finial for securing the flap. Latch tab replaced. Repair to seam near the tip, otherwise very good condition. 5) Brown leather holster measuring 15" overall, made for a revolver with a 7" barrel. No maker markings. Wide leather belt loop secured by two rivets. Round brass finial for securing the flap. Latch tab appears replaced. Moderately worn at the tip with scattered scuffs and scratches and some loss to the surface finish, otherwise the leather is supple and in good condition. 6) Later brown leather holster stamped "Rock Island Arsenal" and made for a pistol with a 5" barrel, such as the Smith & Wesson Model 1917 revolver. Embossed "U.S." on the holster body, pear shaped brass finial for securing the flap, wide belt loop secured via three brass rivets. Moderately worn but serviceable, lacking tie-down ring. good condition.
