Lot of Two Confederate Revolver Holsters. The lot features a brown holster with a flap and tab closure system. The holster is unmarked, showing its age with a few small holes at the bore end, but is otherwise complete with rear belt loop and in good condition. The second example is a black leather (now with a slightly brown tone) flap holster. The holster is lacking the belt loops on the reverse but small slits have been cut to accommodate a belt. There is a small cartridge pouch on the body of the holster just under the flap, about the right size for a pack of combustible cartridges. The holster is scuffed and worn and is missing the closure stud for the flap, otherwise it too is in good condition. The larger holster is 10 1/2" from the front lip to the bottom. The smaller holster is 9" from the front edge to the plug.

From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg.
