    Description

Full Length Civil War US Issue Carbine Sling. Iron snap swivel with some very light scattered surface rust, really negligible, else perfect, unmarked. 2 1/8" wide heavy leather sling with some finish crazing but no flaking and very sound, supple condition with no breaks or tears. Unusually large number of holes for adjusting length with the large two tyne brass buckle. Brass tip firmly affixed but missing two of the small brass rivets. 56" overall and completely untouched. Very nice example of this scarce and desirable piece of Federal cavalry equipment.
