The 8 1/2-inch steel flask with graduated brass spout and marked: G&J.W./HAWKSLEY. The firm was a manufacturer of fine flasks from 1840-c1890.
Condition: Very good. Mellow age patina to brass with traces of fine pitting at rim. Brass with no dents, spout fully functional. Steel body of flask now a mostly smooth bare metal finish with patches of staining and fine pitting. Signs of having been cleaned. No serious dents. No splits.
