Group of Six Powder Flasks. A nice cross section of flasks with varied forms and several sizes. Four examples are in the classic powder flask shape in sizes ranging from a rather tiny 3 ¼" to 8", the latter example English maker marked. Three of the four flasks are in very good condition; one has moderate denting and a small split in the seam. The fifth example has a less conventional bottle shape and measures 4 ¼". The brass body bears evidence of much use with many shallow dents. Finally, the sixth example though unmarked, has a Middle-Eastern look to it. The body measures 4 ¾" in diameter and it stands 8 ¼" to the top of the spout. The brass body is engraved with floral patterns and the body is further accented with a silver base metal applied on the front of the flask and in the center of the reverse side. The front is further decorated with turquoise and coral settings. All in all, an interesting and decorative flask in very good condition.
