Exceptional Unmarked, Hand-Crafted Slim-Jim Western Holster. The fine, floral-carved western "Slim-Jim" style holster of dark brown saddle leather, the obverse carved in a beautiful pattern, featuring floral scrolls, blossoms and a riband across the front for placing the owner's name. The ghost of an inscription can barely be read, appearing to be...Fred....Br. The scrolls continue and wrap around to the back side, including border detail. A single, large belt loop is attached, held in place by three rivets. The holster terminates with a plugged end. From the shape of the holster, it would appear to be for a Colt Navy or other revolver without an extended ejector rod housing. Condition: Fine. Leather stiff and smooth, with light wear and patina.
