White Eagle and Red Cloud: A Choice Matched Pair of What Are Perhaps the Most Esteemed Buffalo Bill's Wild West Posters. With their nine-color lithography and gold accents, these A. Hoen & Co. posters are as sought after among classic lithography collectors as among Western enthusiasts. Both are quite rare, The Red Cloud particularly so. We are proud to be able to offer in this auction not only a beautiful pair, but a single White Eagle poster as well.The condition of the matched pair is truly exceptional. The Red Cloud is virtually mint, surely an unimprovable example. The Cody poster is equally choice, but for accuracy we note subtle, highly professional restoration of a couple of very minor small tears at the top. Each poster measures 21" x 26" and is beautifully and expensively archivally framed to 30" x 36".
