    Two Botanical Prints, One of Grapes by George Brookshaw, and one of Strawberries by John Edwards. Both in generally very good condition, with mat burn and cello tape stains to the latter.

    This lot contains: George Brookshaw (1751-1823). An untitled portrait of grapes in very good condition, from a quarto edition of his Pomona Britannica. Minor toning to sheet with edges browning. Some paper loss at top left, but within the binding edge. Left side shows binding edge and stitching holes. Light penciled notations. 9.75 x 14 inches. [and:] John Edwards (1742-1815). A portrait of "Strawberry with oval spear-shaped rough leaves of an oval fruit" from a quarto edition of his work, The British Herbal (originally published 1769). Mat burn. Cello tape stains have bled through from the reverse. Right side shows binding edge. Light penciled notations. 10.25 x 15.25 inches.
