    Description

    Mechanical Bank: Speaking Dog. Manufactured by J. & E. Stevens and Company, with patent date 1885 on the bottom. Place a coin on the girl's tray and push the lever, the coin falls into the bank and the dog wags his tail and opens his mouth as if to bark. Some paint loss and signs of overpainting but in very good condition. Included with the bank is an advertising card promoting its sale for $1 at Selchow & Righter in New York.
