    Description

    Small 33 Star United States Flag. 8.25" x 6", printed single-sided on coarse cotton material, mounted in a gold-painted gesso and wood frame to an overall size of 10" x 8", 33 stars arranged in two circular patterns with four single stars in each corner and a single large star in the center. Storage wear, else very good. The 33 star flag became the official U. S. flag on July 4, 1859 with the admission of Oregon into the Union. This flag variation lasted until 1861 when Kansas was admitted to the Union.
