    Thomas L. McKenney and James Hall. History of the Inidian Tribes of North America, With Biographical Sketches and Anecdotes of the Principal Chiefs. Embellished with One hundred Portraits from the Indian Gallery in the War Department at Washington.  In Three Volumes. Philadelphia: Rice, Rutter & Co., 1870.

    'Hunting the Buffal' is from volume one, and served as the frontispiece. Accompanied by the original description removed from the text.

    Measures 10 inches x 6.75 inches. Not trimmed. Very minor toning and minimal foxing. Near fine condition.
