    Description

Lot of 22 Illustrations From Peterson's Magazine Featuring Women's Fashion Circa 1861. From the 39th volume of Peterson's Magazine, circa 1861-62, published in Philadelphia. All illustrations are approximately 6 x 9.25 inches. A few illustrations are in color. The paper has light to moderate toning and foxing with some chipping to the edges of the pages. The lot consists mainly of illustrations of women's fashions typical of the early Civil War years with a few miscellaneous illustrations in the mix. There are also a few color needlework and clothing patterns in the lot. Many of the illustrations, once framed and matted would be a lovely addition to the décor of any home or workplace.
