    Lot of 15 Steel Engravings Depicting Sculpture Displayed at the Great Exhibition of 1851. From Tallis's History and Description of the Crystal Palace, and the Exhibition of the World's Industry in 1851; Illustrated by Beautiful Steel Engravings, From the Original Drawings and Daguerreotypes, by Beard Mayall, etc. etc. edited by J. G. Strutt, in three volumes, London and New York: London Printing and Publishing Company, [1852]. Each steel engraved plate measures 8.25 x 10.75 inches. The plates are in generally very good condition with some light toning to the paper and some scattered foxing. Otherwise they would make an attractive addition to any home, school, office or business décor. This lot features examples of sculpture shown at the Great Exhibition of 1851 in London.
