    Lot of 13 Vintage Illustrations From Sartain's Union Magazine With the First Appearance of Poe's Annabel Lee. From Sartain's Union Magazine of Literature and Art, Volume VI, January to June, 1850, Philadelphia: John Sartain & Company. Edited by Mrs. C. M. Kirkland and Professor John S. Hart. An exceptional grouping of period engraved illustrations taken from the magazine which include portraits of famous men of the day, women's fashion, illustrations from works of fiction, and, as an added bonus, the pages of the magazine with Edgar A. Poe's last poem, Annabel Lee. Each page measures 5.75 x 9.5 inches. There is light toning to the paper and occasional light scattered foxing. The illustrations, once framed, would make attractive additions to any home or workplace d├ęcor.
