    These detailed engravings are from A Complete View of the Dress and Habits of the People of England, From the Establishment of the Saxons in Britain to the Present Time, in two volumes, by Joseph Strutt, London: Printed by J. Nichols for J. Edwards, 1796. These finely engraved and finished illustrations depict the fashion of 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th century English ladies of high rank.
