    More Information: John James Audubon (1785-1851). Three Fox Prints. Three hand-colored lithographs from The Quadrupeds of North America (New York and Philadelphia), including: American Cross Fox, Plate VI. [and:] American Black or Silver Fox, Plate CXVI. [and:] American Red Fox, Plate LXXXVII. The American Cross Fox was printed by Nagel & Weingaertner (New York). All in very good condition with light toning and foxing, and mounting tape (on the American Red Fox and Cross Fox only) to reverse. The American Black or Silver Fox has remnants of glue across the top edge of the page and repair tape to reverse. All have light penciled notations. All measure 10.5 x 6.75 inches.
