Octavo edition. 7 octavo volumes. 500 hand colored lithograph plates after Audubon by W. E. Hitchcock, R. Trembley and others. Printed by J. T. Bowen of Philadelphai (plates 1-135, 151-500) or George Endicott of New York (plates 136-150).

    'Carulean Wood-Warbler,' plate 86, volume two [and:] 'Black-throated Blue Wood-Warbler,' plate 95, volume two [and:] 'Loggerhead Shruke,' plate 237, volume four [and:] 'Double-crested-Cormorant,' plate 416, volume six [and:] 'Canada Jay,' plate 234, volume four [and:] 'Blue Song Grosbeak,' plate 204, volume three.

    Each plate is uncut, displaying the gilt edges and binding edge, and measure 10.25 inches x 6.75 inches.

    Very minor toning. Minimal foxing to plates 95, 86, 237, 234 and 204. Tiny pencil notations in the margins. Very good condition.
