    Description

Currier & Ives "Laying Off" Lithograph. From the Camping In The Woods series and dated 1863 from inscriptions on the truncation. Measures 30" x 21" and depicts four men sitting by a lake with a dog after they have caught some trout and grouse. A very nostalgic and "folksy" scene. The print is in excellent condition with smoke damage present on the edges; the lower right corner and upper right corner are missing but this can be covered easily by a mat when framing. There is a stain from water damage in the upper left of the image.
