    Pierre Joseph Redouté (1759-1840). Four Prints. Rosa alba flore pleno, Rosier blanc ordinaire. [and:] Rosa Centifolia mutabilis, Le Rosier Unique. [and:] Rosa Moschata flore semi-pleno, Rosier Muscade à fleurs semi-doubles. [and:] Rosa Noisettiana, Rosier de Philippe Noisette.

    Four hand-colored stipple engravings from Les Roses (Paris: 1817-182). All are in very good condition with general toning to paper, a little darker along the edges. Rosa alba, Rosa Moschata, and Rosa Noisettiana have mounting tape to the reverse. Rosa alba also has some tape remnant in two spots along the right edge, and has two repairs (for paper loss) along the bottom edge. Rosa Centifolia has two repairs (for paper loss) along the bottom edge and a bit of glue remnant on the reverse along the top. Rosa Noisettiana has a small amount of paper loss to lower right corner. All have light penciled notations. All measure 9.75 x 13.25 inches.
