    Description

    Monkey and Coconut Mechanical Bank made by J. & E. Stevens Co., Cromwell, CT, circa 1886. Press the lever when a coin is placed in the monkey's hand, and he'll open the coconut and drop the coin in it. His eyes move and his mouth opens as the coin is deposited in the bank. From the William Esser Collection.

    Condition: General wear. Working. Very good (85%). Size: 7.75" Tall.
