Lot of 10 Tinted Engravings From an Early Railroad Survey of California. Taken from a mid-18th century rail road survey, these 10 slightly tinted plates feature a wide variety of early California scenes including the Inez mountains, Buenaventura Valley, Lost Mountains, crossing the Chowchilla River, the summit of Tejon Pass, the mission and plain of San Fernando, and several other interesting views. Each plate measures 11.5 x 8.5 inches. The paper is toned mainly at the edges and there are a few plates with scattered light foxing, otherwise they are in very good condition. These plates, once framed, would make an attractive addition to the décor of any home, school, or office.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
