    Johann Jakob Jung (1819-1844). Four Camellia Prints.

    Four hand-colored stipple engravings from Iconographie du Genre Camellia ou Description et Figures des Camellia Les Plus Beaux et Les Plus Rares (Paris: 1839-1843), including: Camellia Cummingü, Plate 99. [and:] Camellia Santiniana, Plate 107. [and:] Camellia Parcksü vera, Plate 129. [and:] Camellia Spoffortiana striata, Plate 136. All are in very good condition with general toning to paper, a little darker along the edges. The Camellia Santiniana, Parcksü and Spoffortiana all have mounting tape to the reverse, and light foxing. The Camellia Parcksü has small tears, from stitching holes, along the left edge. All have light penciled notations and measure 9.5 x 13.75 inches, 10.5 x 14 inches, 10.5 x 14 inches, and 10.5 x 14 inches, respectively.
