    More Information: George Edwards (1694-1773). Four Falcon Prints. Four expertly hand-colored engravings from Wilkes' Encyclopaedia Londinensis (London: 1796-1828), including: Falco, The Serpent Eater, Plate I. [and:] Falco, The Griffard Eagle, and the Boatman, Plate II. [and:] Falco, The Noisy Eagle, and the Long-tailed Eagle, Plate IV. [and:] Falco, The Parasite and Furcated Kite of Africa, Plate V. All in very good condition with some toning and minor foxing. All have light penciled notations. Plate II and IV each have a horizontal crease/fold across the entire sheet. Plate I has six pin-holes on the left edge. Plate II has a few small tears along the right edge. All measure 8.5 x 10.5 inches.
