Lot of Items Related to The Cricket in Times Square, including: Three slick printed proofs of illustrations #5 (Tucker the mouse eating), #15 (Harry the cat singing), and #24 (Tucker talks to Chester the cricket in his drainpipe), two of which are signed in full by Garth Williams: illustrations #5 and #15. All with pin holes in the corners; illustration #5 with some shallow folds and a short tear to the top edge. Slick proofs measure approximately 12 x 8.5 inches. [and:] Dust jacket ONLY for George Selden's 1960 book The Cricket in Times Square, with $3.50 price at top of flap, signed in full by Garth Williams on the rear panel, below his printed illustration. [and:] Four photocopies of illustrations from The Cricket in Times Square, each initialed in ink by Williams; all have been folded twice and are stapled (or have been stapled) at top left. Stapled with these are some printed guide drawings of cats, from an unknown source. [and:] Two publicity pieces for the book. All items in very good or better condition.
