    François Nicolas Martinet (1731-1790). Two Bird Prints: Petite Perruche Mâle, de Guinée, Plate 60. [and:] 1. Le petit Tyran, de Cayenne. 2. Le Tyran à queue fourchue, de Cayenne, Plate 571.

    Two hand-colored engravings from Histoire naturelle des oiseaux (Paris: 1770-1786). Both in very good condition, with light toning along the edges, and residue from tape along the top edge (in two places each). Petite Perruche Mâle has stitching holes along the left edge and a very small tear at the lower left corner. Le Tyran has a minor tear along the left edge. Both have light penciled notations. Both measure 9 x 12.5 inches.
