    Description

    Breech Load Shotgun Cane: with Wood Handle and Faux Bamboo Steel Shaft. The breech opens with a quarter turn for a 20-gage shotgun shell. The trigger drops down when the white metal collar is moved turned and the gun is cocked. The mechanism is marked "28 / 7734". The barrel has a removable copper IRS registry mark. Missing the tampion, which served as the ferrule. The 3.75" section below the collar is decorated with silver wire inlay. The cane is 33.75" long including the handle. Near fine. c. 1880
