    Description

Folk Art: Chinaman Shooting Gallery Target. 5.5" x 13" hand-painted, cast iron figure in the half-round, depicting a Chinese gentleman in native costume, holding a fan. It is mounted on a 6" x 5.25" x 3.5" modern base. We believe the mechanism was constructed in such a way that the head, folded out-of-view, will pop up when the red button on his fan is struck. Retains about 70-80% of the original paint. Circa 1880-1900.
