    Fine Gold and Enameled Irvine & Jachens Presentation Deputy United States Marshal Eagle and Shield Badge to George Whittell. 2 3/8-inches tall. The finely engraved eagle above a hard-fired blue enamel riband reading: Deputy. An engraved shield below with enameled circle reading: United States/Marshal. The center with a raised red, white and blue enameled Union shield. Reverse inscribed: "Presented To/George Whittell/By/Fred Esola/United States Marshal/Aug. 14, 1933/N.D.C. No. 8/Irvine & Jachens.: Reverse with stamping: "14K." Gold pin with deluxe safety catch.
