    F. R. Tussac. Artocarpus Integrifolia. A fantastic picture of the Jakfruit, a stipple-engraving, printed in color and finished by hand, from Tussac's Flore des Antilles (Paris: 1808-1827). This print has had major repairs to the reverse and is in good condition.

    More Information:

François Richard de Tussac (1751-1837). A few short tears around the edges have been repaired on the reverse with tape. Faint mat burn. Light dampstaining at middle of left and right margins. At almost exactly the halfway point of the print, the sheet has been cut in a clean horizontal line; the halves have been reattached by tape on the reverse. A two-and-one-quarter-inch tear at the middle right of the sheet has been repaired on the reverse. Despite the imperfections, the image is still vibrant and impressive. Light penciled notations. 20 x 25 inches.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
