Etched Suit of Armor in the 17th Century Style.
Measuring approximately 75-inches; 79-inches overall on the wooden base. Finely detailed pierced, fluted and etched elements. A great example true to detail and with the armor working as designed with articulated arms, elbows and leg joints. No visible maker's marks. Foliate and floral etching on most of the armor from the helm, breastplate to the sabaton. Sold without a sword. Internal parts hammered and fitted with rivets. Etched closed helmet. Possibly Spanish or Italian.

Condition: Very good to fine with age wear. Light surface rust and patches of pitting present. Surface rust noticeable to Sabaton. Suit is a bit loose overall and needs tightening and adjustments to display properly. Some replaced parts.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
