    Description

    Elephant and Three Clowns Mechanical Bank made by J. & E. Stevens Co., Cromwell, CT, circa 1882. Move the ball on the acrobats feet, when a coin is placed between the rings held by the other acrobat, the elephant will strike the coin with his trunk. The coin falls into the receptacle below, while the clown on the elephant will turn at his waist. From the William Esser Collection.
