    Description

Federal Eagle: "No. 2" Waffle Iron. 27.5" wrought and cast iron waffle iron. The two 5.25" circular "pads" each depict an eagle with sixteen stars (circa 1796-1803) beneath a stretch of clouds. The design approximates the Great Seal of the United States, as seen U.S. coinage of the period, notably the silver dollar. Each pad stamped with the numeral "2". Light overall rust with some of the original black paint still showing.
