    Description

Black Figural Bronze-Plated Cigar Lamp Circa 1890. This interesting antique lamp is 9.5" tall (not including wick) and was just the type of item that a gentleman would use to light his cigar in the late 19th century. The glass lamp at the top represents a torch that is being carried atop a large elaborate stand on the head of a black man wearing only shorts and a fez-type hat. The base is 3.5" in diameter and has a decorative border around the edge. Some minor flaking of the finish here and there does not detract, overall extremely fine condition with a new wick ready for some modern cigar aficionado's favorite smoking room.
