Description

Annie Oakley: Cut-Glass Decanter. Annie Oakley liked pretty things: jewelry, china, embroidery, silver, and a complete set of fine cut-glass serving pieces. This decanter and its companion cruet (see lot following) match the pieces that Annie gave to other nieces and nephews and which now reside in the Buffalo Bill Historical Center (Cody, Wyoming) and the Annie Oakley Center at the Garst Museum (Greenville, Ohio). This one is in fine condition and measures 8.5" tall (with the stopper in place) x 6" x 3.5". This lot is from the collection of Bess Edwards, grand-niece of Annie Oakley, and will be accompanied by a signed letter from her authenticating this item as described.
