    Abraham Lincoln: Charles Calverley Bronze Roundel Plaque. Heavy 10.25" bronze plaque depicting Lincoln facing right, inscribed: "Feb 12 1809 April 14 1865 Abraham Lincoln". Signed "C. Calverley" on the shoulder. The back side is inscribed "O P W Cin. O." The Ohio Pattern Works & Foundry Company was founded in 1892 by Victor E. Tresise and Joseph E. Hausfeld. In 1868, Calverley (1833-1914) began a successful career as a portrait sculptor in New York City. During his lifetime, he completed more than 250 busts, medallions, tablets and statues. Pleasing patina with slightly iridescent matte finish.
