    Description

Cowboy-Boot Lamp with W. D. Smithers-Inspired Shade. The base of the lamp - a spelter cowboy boot and spur with copper finish - stands on an oval section of pine wood for an overall height of 8" (approximately 14" with the shade). The decorative celluloid shade is inspired by the photographic lampshades designed by Texas photographer Wilfred D. Smithers. This shade is stitched together with black lace and contains three Texas scenes: cowboy and horse at camp; horse and barn; and a Hereford bull. The lamp is in working condition. A minor tear exists on the shade. TSHA member donation. All proceeds, including Buyer's Premium will go to support TSHA.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
