    More Information:

    A pair of hand-colored engravings from Nederlandsche Vogelen (Amsterdam: 1770-1827). Platalea, Leucorodia is in very good condition with some minute smudges along the left margin and a small crease at the tip of the bottom left corner. Ardea Ciconia is in excellent condition. Both have binding edges on the right side, minor toning along the remaining edges and very slight foxing throughout. All have light penciled notations. Both measure 14.5 x 21 inches.

    These prints from the first edition of Volume II of Nederlandsche Vogelen (Amsterdam: 1789).
