    Description

    Bulldog Mascot Papier-mâché Pull Toy.
A fierce white bulldog measuring 26" long and 13.5" high, mounted on wooden wheels, with glass eyes, painted features, moving head, and a leash attached to a red collar that, when pulled, opens the dog's mouth to emit a bark (which sounds more like a croak). The detail is rather remarkable with realistic muscle structure and prominent ribs.
Condition- The example at hand shows evidence of previous repairs, namely around the area of the tail. The right front and left rear legs have a major stress crack (probably from a child's inability to fight the urge to ride him), the simulated fur is worn bare in areas, in short he is starting to show his hundred plus years of age. However, given the fragile nature of papier-mâché, the toy would certainly rate a very good condition.
