Twelve Stereoviews Including Genre Scenes. An eclectic, large group of stereoviews including many typical genre studies as well as some more curious scenes including: a view of a coastal rock formation called Negro Head in Rhode Island; a view of the Central Park Zoo; a picnic scene featuring a black guitar player in Sleepy Hollow, New York; a black hunter with his dog; a black child feeding a baby pig with a bottle; a view of Reservoir Square in New York (present-day Bryant Park); a mixed-race Baptist school with the children assembled in front; a fishmonger; and a southern street scene showing blacks surrounding a "small show wagon". Mostly published by Northern photographers including Alfred S. Campbell, Elizabeth, New Jersey, James M. Davis, New York, and others. Condition is fine overall save for light aging and foxing to a few, and a small chip to one of the mounts.
