    Stone Cuneiform Amulet
    Mesopotamia.
    Ca. 1800 B.C.
    2-3/8" x 1-3/4".
    Slender small rectangular stone amulet with tapered edges, inscribed with cuneiform writing in 6 lines separated by incised lines, the opposite side with zigzag border and writing in center but faint due to worn surface. Perforated at top for suspension beneath small grooved relief tab. Minor nicks at edges. Rare.
