    Relics: Eight Relics Related to the Holy Land, from the Collection of J. S. Reigart, including: a small stone fragment mounted on a piece of olive wood, 4.25" x 6.25", with two notes on the back, one of which reads, "The fragment of stone is from the Church of the Nativity Bethlehem, A.D. 1867 / The olive wood is also from Bethlehem"; a glass vial filled with soil and mounted on a turned wood base, the bottom of which as a label, "Earth from near the place where Christ was born, Bethlehem"; a large bottle, 3.25" high, filled with frankincense resin and with a label, "Frankincense from Jerusalem"; a bottle with dried plant specimens labeled, "Cactus from Mount Moriah, Jerusalem"; a finely turned box, 3.5" high, with a autograph note, "Box made of Olive Wood from Mt. Olive, Jerusalem, A.D. 1861"; a plank of wood, 7.25" x 3", with a label, "Olive Wood from near the tomb of Abraham at Hebron"; another plank of wood, 7.5" x 2", with an attached label, "Olive Wood from Gibeon, Palestine", Gibeon was the ancient Canaanite city north of Jerusalem; and, a round turned plinth, 2.25" in diameter, labeled, "A knot of Olive Wood from the Mount of Olives or Mount Olivet, Jerusalem".
