    Rare English Brass-Barreled Blunderbuss Flintlock Pistol with Spring-Loaded Bayonet by Archer. 1-inch bore, 8 7/8-inch brass barrel with band at breech. Mounted with spring-loaded triangular bayonet. Lockplate marked in script: Archer. Roller frizzen. Sliding safety. Goose neck cock with flint present. Varnished walnut stock with brass furniture. Hardwood ramrod with brass tip. Probably Thomas Archer of Birmingham, 14 Lichfield St. 1808-1818. Condition: Very good to excellent. Metal showing light wear and age patina. Stock with small, stable crack adjacent counterplate and scattered dents and bruises. Action very good.
