    Inscribed Colt Model 1849 Pocket Percussion Revolver with Holster. Serial no. 213460, .31 caliber, 4-inch octagonal barrel with New York address. 6-shot cylinder. Silver-plated brass triggerguard and gripstrap assembly. Butt inscribed in script: Geo W. Barnes. Varnished walnut grips. Contained in original period holster with brass stud flap keeper [flap missing] and single belt loop on reverse. Condition: Good. Metal showing mottled grey age patina with scattered light pitting overall. Cylinder with well-defined scene and a few dents present. Triggerguard retaining approximately 5-10% finish, the remainder with brass patina. Grips with wear to relief edges and minor marks. Action good. Holster missing flap and showing scattered light surface checking.
