Mojeno, Daro, India.
Mature Harappan period, ca. 2800-2500 B.C.
1-3/16" x 1-3/16".
Square burnt steatite stamp seal inscribed with a profile of a bull before a flag with crescent. Above is an inscription in an Indus script, partly syllabic, partly transitional form of writing. Perforated circular node on top with groove along center. Edges nicked, and some flaking of surface, else intact.
