    "Lion Hunter" Mechanical Bank made by J. & E. Stevens Co., Cromwell, CT, circa: 1911. Cock the device on the gun's barrel and place a coin in front. By pressing the lever, the hunter takes aim and fires causing the coin to strike the lion and fall into the receptacle below. From the William Esser Collection.
