    The Auctioneer Cigar Label from the Bendixen-Peck Cigar Co. of Syracuse, New York. a lithographed 9" x 6" inner label showing a giant tobacco auctioneer holding raw tobacco leaves in his right hand and a box of "Auctioneer" cigars (of course) in his left towering over a tobacco plantation (on his right) and a market / auction house (on his left). Palm trees and a ship on the horizon indicate that this is scene is meant to signify Cuba (it certainly isn't Syracuse New York). The words "Harvest - Quality - Market" are in a scroll at the bottom, and all text is highlighted with gold embossing. Condition is excellent with just some very light handling.
